Battery management hardware

ARJUNA EV Late September to early November

Our previous battery pack struggled to meet the motor's power demand and had high losses. I am developing the BMS for the next pack.

Four boards, one battery pack.
Rotate the models and inspect each design.

3D models document the board layout. Some connector and fuse packages use simplified geometry.

My contribution

I develop the full-pack BMS hardware and firmware in ARJUNA EV's Energy Storage division.

In progress

The four boards are in final review. Development of the new firmware is ongoing.

ADBMS6822 Interface Board
Communication interface between the pack monitoring chain and the vehicle controller, supporting the flow of battery data across the system.
ADBMS6830 Upper AFE Board
Upper analog front-end board for cell-voltage and temperature acquisition across one section of the battery pack.
ADBMS6830 Lower AFE Board
Lower analog front-end board that extends cell monitoring and balancing coverage across the pack architecture.
Battery Charging Control Board
Charging-control interface designed to coordinate charging status, telemetry, and battery-side control signals.

I am an Electrical Engineering undergraduate at Universitas Gadjah Mada and part of ARJUNA EV's Energy Storage division. My current work spans battery-management hardware, firmware, simulation, and the interfaces used to understand the pack.
